My boss just made me cry!
Kate just popped into my office with something she wanted to show me- it’s a beautiful new funeral pall to match our white altar frontal.
This is what we place over urns containing people’s ashes at the altar at funerals. We have a large one for caskets, but we have not had one that matches the rest of our white vestments, until now.
Of course, I thought it was beautiful, and then I turned it over…
It has been given to the church in my name in memory of my Mum and Dad.
I had no idea this was in the works and I am beyond touched and cannot tell you how much this means to me.
I work in the best place and have the best boss!
