About Me

My name is Crispian Thorne and I am a semi-professional photographer living in Rye, NY, USA.

My day job is taking care of Christ’s Church, a more-than 300 year-old Episcopal parish where I am the Verger: building manager, stage manager, IT, security, photographer, administrator, desktop publisher, liturgist, web developer, odd-job man, and anything else that doesn’t fit someone else’s job description 😉

I live under the parish hall with my wife Jackie, our kid Cris (when they’re not away at college), and Holly the border collie, Faith the chow crested staffie, Walter the cat and Dipper the leopard gecko.

My hobbies are hiking with the dogs, computers (Linux a specialty), and bingewatching Netflix. Photography is now a little more than a hobby, as you will see from this site, and I am available for commissions and events, please use the form on the Contact page.
