Farewell Amy Pond

Well, it was short and sweet, but sadly we have had to return Amy Pond back to the shelter- she can go back to being Tessa again.

It was a whole list of behavioral issues that did not reveal themselves at the shelter, mostly stemming from the fact that she was an unsocialized stray with major food issues, any one of which we could probably have dealt with on their own, but all stacked on top of each other it was just too much (especially for Faith and Walter).

We’re sad to see her go, but Amy/Tessa has had a few days of socialization, some good walks, has gone leaps and bounds ahead in her house-training, and the shelter now has new info for when they are placing her next time, so it could be called a minor win I suppose.

And we have learned a lot for when we try again, but probably not for a little while.
