Rainy Friday
It rained all night and we woke to a misty, wet morning at our tiny house in the Vermont woods.
We decided to all go for a nice gentle walk along what we could of the West River Trail from Jamaica State Park. Which was mostly uneventful other than Holly flinging herself down the bank to get to the water at a spot that required me to go down and help her back up! We stopped at the Dumplings (big rocks in the river) viewing platform where there is a huge landslide blocking the trail.
On the way home we stopped at the Ball Mountain and Townshend Dams to take a few more moody, wet pictures.
Now it’s time for naps and book reading on the screen porch and then back to the Fat Crow for our last night dinner.
