So the fantastic news is that it would seem Governor Cuomo’s budget has passed– including the Excelsior Scholarship plan for free tuition at SUNY & CUNY schools 🙂

They’ve added a stipulation that after graduation you must live and work in NY state for as long as you had the scholarship, but I don’t think that’s a lot to ask.

My daughter is very clever to have applied and been accepted to SUNY Purchase for this fall 🙂
