Not for the squeamish…

… Holly’s wound is actually more on the side of her chest than her belly. It’s held closed with 3 staples but it seems to be healing nicely, though the bruising around it has blossomed in the last couple of days 🙁

On the plus side she can’t reach it and it doesn’t seem to bother her too much (I’m sure the painkillers help), so we’ve been able to leave the cone off when we’re in the house and just put it on her when she’s home alone 🙂
