Moving a tree

We are replacing the nursery school playground this summer, but to do so we need to move this little tree that was given as a memorial. Even though the playground work is not due to start for months if the tree is to stand a chance of surviving it has to be moved before it buds… hence the poor guys digging it up in 31F weather.
