Getting ready :)

The forecasts are still ranging from 5" to a foot and a half, but it seems pretty certain we're going to get quite a lot of snow, so I figured I should get ready. Up until now the power brush (the orange machine in front) has done all the work, but it looks like this time the snowblower (the red beast behind the other one) is going to get in on the act. So I have spent a little time this morning overhauling both of them: checking the oil and the tires, gapping the plugs, and adjusting and lubricating the controls; but the snowblower has also had it's skids adjusted, a new scraper bar installed, and the whole inside sprayed with a special "snow lubricant" to stop it getting clogged. If anyone has nothing to do on Saturday morning I also have lots of old-fashioned snow shovels…  🙂
