Step 16: the trenching work is now pretty much done, and they are starting to work out how the new pipes will fit together under the floor.

While digging they found the old pipe that had failed- as you can see it is almost completely blocked with rust, and the black, damp soil they found around it means it was cracked and had been leaking for a while.
