And here we are out on the trail- if it looks like we’re riding in a golf cart, we are. Apparently dog trainers often use quad bikes to train the dogs when there’s no snow as they give the dogs a good workout pulling them and they act as a good anchor when the brakes are on, and a golf cart works just the same but has room for passengers.
The dogs are right in the middle of moulting their summer coats and we had just spent half an hour getting to know them so we were covered in dog hair- Jackie is mildly allergic to dogs (she sometimes has problems with our short-haired border collie mix) and had a cold anyway, so you can hear in this video that her nose had almost totally closed up by this point!
