Haiti

My heart goes out to the people of Haiti which has been devastated by an earthquake yesterday.

The BTI business school in Les Cayes (in the SW) where I went in ’08 is OK, but Cayes has suffered damage and has some buildings down. Apparently the worst damage is in Port au Prince, Jacmel and PetionVille. The Episcopal Cathedral in PaP where I went on my last day in Haiti and the school and music school next door have been flattened.

My slideshow of pictures from my trip in ’08 is here, it’s heartbreaking to think that many of the buildings in the pictures in PaP are probably just rubble now.
